How long does it take?
Books take at least 2 months from our first conversation to the finished book. If you have a date in mind, like a birthday, tell us early and we'll plan around it.
Where do the conversations happen?
Wherever your loved one feels most at ease, usually at home. Each conversation lasts 1 hour.
What if my loved one is shy, or says "my life is not interesting"?
Almost everyone says that at first. We start with easy, happy memories, like how they chose your name, and the stories come naturally from there.
Which languages can you interview in?
At the moment, we interview and write in English.
Do I need to give you the original photos?
No. Please send us scanned copies of the photos you'd like in the book, so your originals stay safe with you. If you need help scanning them, we can do it for an additional fee.
How do we check the book before it's printed?
We go through the draft together with you during the second conversation.
What about difficult memories?
Your loved one decides what goes in the book. We agree on topics to leave out before we start.
How do Gift shop orders work?
Add keepsakes to your cart, tell us the words you'd like and upload your photos at checkout, then pay securely by card or Apple Pay. We send you a preview before we make anything.
